PROJECT SCOPE

The project included master planning for a church campus consisting of a sanctuary, school, publishing house, sports complex, and missionary offices. Preliminary designs were completed for a 25,700 square foot sanctuary to seat 700 people.

ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES

Architectural services included project programming, master planning, schematic design, and a cost estimate, all of which reflected the client’s desire to relocate and expand their facilities to their 10-acre site in Kennewick, Washington.

The sanctuary was a contemporary design, located at the center of the campus. The curved building front acts like arms collecting people for worship. Once inside, the large atrium provides a relaxed gathering space for socializing. The design allows natural light to illuminate the spaces, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.
