- PROJECT SCOPE
- The project consisted of a
two-story, 45,000 square foot office, conference and computer building, including an
elevator. The project received the Bonneville Power Administration’s "Energy
Smart Design Award" for 1991. Efficiency measures included a variable air
volume heat pump system, high-efficiency lighting using 1.5 watts/square foot and one
footcandle for exit corridors, and R-19 walls, an R-30 roof and low-emissivity,
double-glazed windows added to the energy savings. Incentives reduced the incremental cost
of installing efficient equipment by 70 percent.
