PROJECT SCOPE
This project matched Umatilla Electric Cooperative's existing office building exterior with a new 18,000 square foot customer service office and telephone switch building, both located adjacent to the original building.
The customer service office was constructed with a concrete roof deck, elevator, stair and mechanical shafts to allow for an 8,000 square foot future expansion. It houses Umatilla Electric's customer service operations, public meeting rooms and executive offices. The telephone switch building was constructed with a telephone cable vault below and bullet-proof structure above. This structure was over-insulated and light fixtures were double-switched to reduce energy usage. The project included a remote drive-up teller station, parking and landscaping.
